11/19/19 - If you remain under the advisory, we would like to provide an important update about our efforts and resource distribution moving forward.

Together, we are continuing to make progress toward a resolution in University Park. By using your tap water, you are helping the treatment take effect, and we would like to thank you for your cooperation. Since the beginning, we have been committed to ensuring that you have access to resources while under the advisory. Effective Monday, Nov. 25, we are introducing drive-up service at the new Aqua Distribution Center, where a member of our team will load resources directly into your vehicle. We will be relocating from 90 Towncenter Drive to our local facility: Address: Aqua Distribution Center
24650 S. Western Ave. University Park, IL. 60484 Hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.* *Closed on national holidays, including Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2019, and New Year’s Day, Jan. 1, 2020. At the distribution center, you can pick up bottled water, faucet and pitcher filters and filter replacements. Water sample kits will be available by calling the Aqua Customer Service Center. As always, we ask that you bring a State ID or Aqua bill as proof of residence. Following this Wednesday and Friday’s water deliveries – and an extra delivery on Sunday, Nov. 24, in advance of Thanksgiving – with the new drive-up system in place, we are also phasing out front-porch deliveries to keep water from freezing. Customers who are physically unable to pick up resources at the facility may still call our Customer Service Center to coordinate home deliveries. Remember, according to the EPA and the CDC, under the advisory, you can consume your tap water if you run your cold tap water for 2-3 minutes and filter it through NSF-certified filters. You can reach the Aqua Customer Service Center at 877.987.2782 if you have questions or continue to visit WaterFactsIL.com for the latest information. As we continue doing all we can to resolve this situation in your community as soon as possible, we would like to thank you again for your ongoing patience.

11/25/19 - If you remain under the advisory, we want to ensure that you know how to get resources this holiday week.

In addition to yesterday’s extra water delivery, our drive-up distribution center (located at 24650 S. Western Ave., University Park, IL. 60484) is open today, Wednesday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. We understand that some of you may be traveling or having visitors this week, so we have also added hours this Saturday, Nov. 30, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. As a reminder, according to the EPA and the CDC, under the advisory, you can consume your tap water if you run your cold tap water for two to three minutes and filter it through NSF-certified filters, like those we continue to offer at the distribution center. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours from the Aqua Illinois team. As always, we are thankful for your continued patience as we work toward a resolution.
